Using a RAIN RFID fixed reader has never been as simple as today with the new Autonomous mode<\/span> that was recently added to CAEN RFID fixed readers: the Quattro<\/span><\/a> and the Proton<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Autonomous mode permits to easily configure the reader with a user-friendly web interface <\/span> to make the reader working without any further intervention.<\/p>\n

Here are listed the main features exposed by the Autonomous mode:<\/p>\n

HW AND SW TRIGGER MANAGEMENT:<\/span>
\n
\nreading operation can be started and stopped using the GPIO lines of the readers as well as using specific commands coming from a PLC or a controlling PC.
\n<\/span><\/div>\n
HW AND SW FLEXIBILITY ON OUTPUT DATA FORMAT:<\/span>
\n
\ndata can be sent to the serial port, to a standard TCP\/IP socket or via HTTP\/HTTPS POST directly to an application server.
\n<\/span>
\nDUTY CYCLE CONFIGURATION<\/span><\/div>\n
ANTENNA SELECTION:<\/span>
\n
\nthe user can select which antennas to be used in the inventory process.
\n<\/span><\/div>\n
CONFIGURABLE AIR INTERFACE PARAMETERS <\/span>
\n
\nlike output power, Q value, Sessions.
\n<\/span><\/div>\n
MULTIPLE OUTPUT INTERFACES: <\/span>
\n
\ndata can be sent to the serial port, to a standard TCP\/IP socket or via HTTP\/HTTPS POST directly to an application server.

TAG FILTERING: <\/span>
\n
\nuser can filter tags to be read by meaning of matching data (Select command) or by time (avoid reading continuously the same tag if not needed).

RSSI FILTERING:<\/span>
\n
\ntag with a low RSSI can be filtered out to simply exclude unwanted tags.
\n<\/span><\/div>\n
ALL TAG MEMORY BANKS CONTENT <\/span>
\n
\ncan be read and returned in formatted output data.

The Autonomous mode is available on both the Quattro<\/span><\/a> and the Proton<\/span><\/a> readers.<\/p>\n
