# Modernize ticketing system: from NFC Cards to Cloud-Based RFID Technology

The **Passo Lavazè Cross-Country Ski Center** opted to **modernize** its ski ticketing system in cooperation **with Aroundstore.com** and **CAEN RFID**.

The **new cloud-based RFID ticketing** system and access control software was developed to allow a well-organized ski pass management.

With over 45,000 visitors yearly, this **Ski Center required** a more **efficient** access control system to accommodate all skiers to streamline access control processes, taking over the utilization of **NFC cards**.

The *long-range reading capability*, the *affordability of wearable tags* and the *fast reading speeds* with *non-changeable tag*, make the **RFID technology** the **perfect solution** for the creation of an optimized ticketing verifying system tailored to end-customers and Ski Center management’s needs.
